Mad Hatter Hats

Its tea party season, ladies. I'm celebrating by sharing my top ten most whimsical, cheerful and plain fabulous custom Mad Hatter hats to date!! 

This chartreuse and plum mad hatter hat was custom made for one amazing bride. She described her wedding as a woodland tea party meets rock and roll. Mission accomplished. Nes pas?? And we could die over that vintage cameo brooch. Sigh* Found at an antique store in the beautiful mountains of PA.

Gold top hats were created for an entire Mad Hatter Bridal Party. The bride had me custom make them in each of the girl's dress colors and made sure each hat had her bridesmaid's birth dates on them. Talk about bridal party gifts. Amazing. 

 Adore adore adore adore this hat. Made for a Mad Hatter themed ball!! Made with a green raw silk, bouquet of red roses and a French blue ribbon. Love this hat so much I decided to offer it in my SHOP.

This hot pink number was created for a fab bacholorette party. One of my most popular combos ever. Hot pink top hat with turquoise/teal accents with a colorful bouquet of flowers. So much fun!

At less than two inches tall, this petite blue and white striped mad hatter hat packs a 20 foot punch! This tiny top hat was created for a garden party. 

 This teal Mad Hatter hat was created for a bridal shower. The bride to be had an Alice in Wonderland meets Marie Antoinette theme. Soul sister??

Purple woodland Mad Hatter hat with the bride's wedding date! This beauty was lush with berries, french net and glittery lavender.

       Gold brocade top hat with coral, fuchsia, pale pink and yellow blooms. SUNSHINE!

 ADORED the aqua top hat custom made for a lovely lovely mom to be for her baby shower. She rocked this bright mad hatter hat with the most adorable floral vintage dress you have ever seen. Love my peeps.

And of course, our ever classic Gold Mad Hatter Top Hat. I've done this damask with every color sash and bow imaginable. A little steampunk and totally classic and luxurious. Love this stuff.

Spring Summer 2012 Headpieces by Two Back Flats

A quick little snippet of our Cherry Blossom photo shoot last week!! We could not have been more blessed with the weather, our little picnic spot and the lovely and whimsical crew that pulled together. One of the best days ever!!

New hats, wreaths and fascinators will be listed daily for the next week or so! Check facebook or my shop for updates!

The mild winter had me jonesing to make some hair crowns and floral wreaths. This yellow, pink and red one may be my fave. So into this color palette right now. 

These birdcage veil head bands are the best thing since cheese! They're all a little different in their own way but OH so dramatic. And totally simple to wear. 

Stunnnnner!!! The breathtakingly beautiful Erica Von Lindenberg! One of my favorite hair stylists and models roooocks this guinea feather, french net headband. She looks like a true gypsy goddess. I would die to see a bohemian bride frolicking in this look.

Here is another in white. They can both be worn as either eye masks or headbands. Sometimes I wanna kiss myself. Threw one of these on as a headband with cowboy boots this weekend. So. good. 

 Professional picnic-ers. Adore this shot on the basket. 

This class act is named after my friend and model - Darling Nina. Created from a delicious recycled ivory striped fabric, french net veil and pearl brooch. Ughh can everyone please start wearing hats every single day??
