 Some people are just good gift givers and have really lucky friends. Custom made with yellow and green seersucker as a birthday party gift. "Mom's a prep" were my instructions. Huge pink buttons. Coming right up.

 I know I loved anything with my name on it as a kid. Hope Evelyn sweats her tiny top hat for years to come.

Royal Ascot Hat

I had the honor of being commissioned for a hat for a very fabulous lady invited to Royal Ascot.

What do we think? Belle of the Ball?

She wanted to sport one of my Mad Hatter hats for a touch of whimsy. Can we blame her? ;)

Two patterned vintage fabrics in cream and ivory with touches of champagne satin. 

Trimmed with pale pink and ivory feathers and a vintage flower brooch. 

 

I'm in love with that pop of green on the stem. 

I blew this one a kiss as it headed out the door.

When contacted by the LOVELY Jas from Two Back Flats about styling her hats for the everyday gal, my first reaction was, “WHO??? ME???” It was confusing and extremely flattering all at once. Once I wrapped my head around it, of course, I squealed and accepted the challenge

 

Outfit inspirations: Tim Burton’s Sweeny Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street.

Our first collaboration is based on JOHNNY DEPP characters. Yep, that’s right, Johnny Depp..the wonderful worlds of Sweeny Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street and Willy Wonka from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory…the wildly fantastical movie madness of Tim Burton and, well, Tim Burton. Wow, isn’t it grand!?
