Hot Pink and Black Mad Hatter Wedding

Oooo la la. Is there anything more classic AND more modern than a hot pink and black New Orleans Mad Hatter wedding? I think not.

I can't wait to see photos of this bridal party decked out in there matching Mad Hatter hats.

Handmade from scratch using black and hot pink satins. Hand crafted 10/6 tags and embellished with rhinestone trim.

Our gorgeous bride will be wearing a white mini top hat with thick black ribbon and detachable birdcage veil.

And of course two little wee reverse hot pink hats for the flower girls. This is going to be an awesome wedding.

Wedding Inspiration: Mad Hatter Chic

I was so excited and to be honest, a little nervous for Nicole's red, orange and green inspiration photos. Being a pink and purple gal myself, I knew something magical would come of pushing my color envelope. I found the PERFECT vintage mushroom pin from BlendedSplendid on Etsy. (Seriously - if you love anything retro, kitschy or fantastically odd - you will find something you want in her shop!)

I was giddy. GIDDY about the finished product. I can just see Nicole's entire ensemble now!

Anna and John's Disney Mad Hatter Wedding!!

I am so sorry for the delayed finale of Mad Hatter week mon cheris! I will make it up to you at the end of this post!

We left off with Anna and John's oh so whimsical, oh so perfect Mad Hatter Engagement photos! Well, buckle up because their wedding was even more lovely.

The girls wore custom made petite mini top hats to match their adorably colorful bridesmaid dresses. Coolest bride ever.




Anna's hat was completely custom and so couture. We designed a pure white mini top hat made from a gorgeous damask fabric. Peekaboo turquoise underside, vintage pin and birdcage veil. She was timeless!

Anna and John had guest appearances from The Mad Hatter AND Goofy. We're all officially famous by association.

Alice in Wonderland Engagement Photos

I don't even know how to start this post! Anna found me online to have custom bridal party mini top hats made. It may have been the fact that she wanted them in turquoise, hot pink, orange and green that made me fall in love with her. But, we were instant friends. We had a blast talking about her Mad Hatter themed wedding. Coming up with crazy ideas and gushing over things like tea sets. She is salt of the earth, writer of hand written notes, encouraging beyond measure and truly the type of person you want on your side.

...And beautiful to top it off! After she received her bridal party hats, we went on to make her a black mini top hat and hair bow for her Alice in Wonderland Engagement session. Complete with croquet mallets, tutus, striped socks and her friend's rabbit, these photos are such such such a treat. Courtesy of her equally awesome photographer Courtney Reece.
